How are OTC hearing aids different from prescription hearing aids?
Close to 30 million adults living in the U.S. have some degree of hearing loss. Despite the high number of people affected by hearing loss, only about one-fifth of those who could benefit from a hearing aid seek intervention (source: US FDA). US FDA established a new category of OTC hearing aids to increase public’s access to hearing aids and improved hearing. These OTC hearing aids are specifically meant for adults with mild to moderate hearing loss and have appropriate technical specs to meet the needs of mild to moderate hearing loss. No hearing test is needed for using a OTC hearing aid. Over-the-Counter hearing aids come with general settings with the ability to make small, limited adjustments, typically lumping low and high frequencies. There is also a mandatory volume control. These hearing aids are only designed to assist someone with mild to moderate self-perceived hearing loss.
Are these real hearing aids or just amplifiers?
All our products are FDA registered hearing aids that are allowed to be sold OTC (Over the Counter). These hearing aids just don’t make all sounds in the environment around you louder. Our hearing aids cancel out feedback and background noise and allow you to hear only the relevant sounds.

All our hearing aids are over the counter, FDA registered hearing aids and are meant for mild to moderate hearing loss. This allows us to offer our quality hearing aids at much lower prices as compared to the prescription hearing aids which could cost several thousand dollars

Do I need a prescription or a hearing test to buy hearing aids from you?
Since our hearing aids are over-the-counter (OTC), they don’t require a prescription or hearing test. They are designed to be simple and effective for anyone needing hearing assistance. You’re able to adjust each hearing aid individually to your exact needs by switching between the volume settings and listening modes
Do you warranty your products?
We offer a 1 year warranty on all our hearing aids. For the first year (365 days) after the day your order arrives, you're protected by our 1 year warranty. If your hearing aids, malfunction or have any other issues, we'll issue up to one replacement - entirely free.
After your first free replacement, we're happy to issue further replacements, however there will be a small fee ($60 to $90) charged in order to partially cover our costs.
